Design Approach

Andrea Srinivas completed her college studies and interior design degree in Washington state before launching Andrea Srinivas Design, LLC in Seattle, WA in 2005. Andrea has enjoyed living and working in southern New Hampshire since 2012, assisting clients with their custom home builds, home and office renovations, furnishing and design consulting projects. Her time spent on the east and west coasts and her travels abroad have inspired her eclectic design work.

Andrea brings her best to every project, orchestrating designs that complement space architecture while reflecting specific client tastes or company branding. Andrea describes her work as clean-lined and casually elegant. Viewing every new project as a unique design opportunity and client collaboration, Andrea has opted to keep her firm small in order to give her clients the one-on-one attention and uniquely tailored design that each project deserves.

Testimonials

Working with Andrea on our home renovation was an amazing experience - a true collaboration. She listened and observed and guided us toward the perfect materials and aesthetic to complement our taste and our lifestyle. In addition to having exquisite taste, Andrea is a magician at turning wasted space into usable space, maximizing every square inch of capacity in our kitchen with unique, custom storage solutions.

Andrea brought a supremely talented team of contractors and sub-contractors to our project and at every step of the way, we were extremely impressed with their professionalism and creativity. The entire project went smoothly, and Andrea delivered above and beyond our wildest expectations. We are ecstatic with the results of our renovation and can highly recommend Andrea not only as a highly skilled professional, but above all as a thoughtful and caring individual who sought to make our experience as stress-free as possible.”

"My husband and I have had extremely positive experiences with Andrea Srinivas Design.  She masterminded interiors for our 6000 sq ft chiropractic/alternative medicine facility where our businesses are co-located.  Additionally, she consulted with us on several different projects at our home.  Honestly, I can't say enough good things about her work.  I was initially hesitant to hire a designer at all, particularly for our home.  I was surprised how sensitive she was to the vision that I wanted to create.  Frankly, I feel that our home would look so much worse if we hadn't hired her.  Her help on window treatments in particular was so dramatically helpful.  I know that I would've installed basic neutral cellulars in our living room and instead we have the most lovely full length drapes with romantic underlying sheers.  I absolutely love them, and never would've had the wherewithal to pick them out on my own.  She orchestrated the construction of an absolutely stunning hand constructed Roman shade with phenomenally gorgeous lustrous fabric from India that just looks fantastic.  Again, I never in a million years would've picked this out on my own and now it is my favorite piece in the kitchen.  It gives the space so much color and life.  She gave me the courage to make some of these choices and yet the space still feels like "me".  She absolutely saved us on several occasions at the office as well.  Specifically I really value the framing specifications that she came up with for my husband's northwest photography. The pieces that she assisted with look so much better than ones where we just relied on assistance from the frame shop.   Additionally, she was instrumental in shifting the materials recommended by the contractor's employee to a dramatically more pleasing palate.  Oh my goodness, and the staging of our waiting room!!  Here's another example of where she came of with a layout so perfect that would have never occurred to me.  Our waiting room really looks "designer done".  I loved her placement of large plants and guidance with upholstery color that went well with the northwest photography.  Perhaps my favorite thing of all is the out of this world gorgeous granite she picked out for our transaction counters.  It is black with these awesome blue inclusions.  It is just looks so great!  My advice to anyone is absolutely to use her services.  It's so worth the money and your space will look a million times better for it."

"Andrea is by far the best Designer I've worked with to date. I know that's a big statement, yet it's still an understatement. I've worked with many designers, some of whom have been very successful, and yet I can't say enough about Andrea. First, as the owner of a tile installation company, I want to work with professionals. Andrea is very professional, always timely and always giving me as much or more than needed information for a given project. Her drawings are neat, readable and complete. She is a clear communicator and every client whom I’ve ever referred to her is more than satisfied with the final project and the experience. There are two types of designers working in Washington State (and certainly elsewhere). There are what I refer to as “color pickers." Then, there are trained, educated and licensed professionals. Andrea is a licensed, experienced professional and is heads above the other professionals in her field. She is also an award winning designer whom I've never hesitated to refer. She is a great designer, creative and unique. That should be obvious, yet in this business it is not always so. She creates unique designs and finds some of the most creative and interesting material combinations to work with. Specifically referring to her tile design, she thinks outside the box especially on some of the “simpler” design. She understands the details of good design and particularly good tile design. Her final products are beautiful, creative, and fun to install."

"We retained the services of Andrea Srinivas Design to assist us in the remodeling of our kitchen. From the conception of our vision to the completion of the project, Andrea was AMAZING! Andrea worked closely with us to work out a design that was not only interesting and unique but practical for our family. She has instincts and vision that are indeed extraordinary. One of the best things about working with Andrea are her communication skills. Throughout our work, she was always an attentive listener. We talked through every step, and when we were worried about how a certain aspect of the kitchen would look, she took time to explain it and ask questions. In short, we learned very quickly, we could TRUST her. She also didn’t hesitate to steer us in a direction that we may have been less apt to go. Each time we took the leap of faith, it absolutely improved the overall project. These same communication skills paid great dividends in working with our contractors. Andrea was kind but firm with everyone. In what seems to be a big distinction from most kitchen remodeling jobs, everyone involved felt the job went very smoothly, due much in part to Andrea’s communication with all parties throughout. Andrea gets our highest possible endorsement. She is terrific to work with!!"

"I have worked with Andrea on a number of high end projects. She is creative, intelligent, and a passionate person with an eye for details. I interviewed a number of designers prior to selecting Andrea and one of the reasons I selected Andrea was because she was emotionally attached to those projects. The end result was total satisfaction with her work. It couldn't get any better."

"We needed an update to a large fireplace in our family room.  Andrea presented us with a design that was both beautiful and worked within our budget.  We were so pleased with the results and have received many compliments, not only on the fireplace, but on how it has transformed the look of the whole room.Andrea was a pleasure to work with, was very organized and was always responsive to our many questions.  We especially appreciated her expertise in navigating through the numerous tile options and helping us make a final selection. Andrea also went above and beyond the fireplace design by assisting with paint color options, and providing suggestions for rearranging the furniture and décor for the new mantel. We truly enjoyed working with Andrea and highly recommend her!"

"We have worked with Andrea for two projects-- a full kitchen remodel and a remodel to the fireplace wall in our living room. After a flood in our kitchen at Christmas last year, we decided to go ahead and remodel the kitchen since it was all torn out anyway. Andrea was fast, efficient and understood our vision perfectly. She even had ideas to improve our vision. We knew from her preliminary drawings that we were going to love it, but the finished product surpassed our highest expectations. Andrea was there every step of the way with drawings, helping source tile, appliances, counter tops and paint colors. Stopping in to talk with our contractor if any hiccups arose on his end and just checking in to make sure things were going as expected. I never would have survived a remodel without her vision and help! I never imagined I'd have a designer but after this experience, anything else we have to do to our home will be done with Andrea's expertise. Can't say enough about how easy she is to work with and how beautiful her designs come out. Her pricing was very reasonable and I'd recommend her to ANYONE doing a remodel."

"Andrea was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and creative while helping design our kitchen and dining room! She analyzed our space, lighting, and architecture to assist in making recommendations on flooring, cabinet styles and color schemes that perfectly fit our lifestyle!  She efficiently provided us with color samples and information on local pricing and venues to help us work within our budget.  Her excellent communication skills guided us through many difficult decisions. We will certainly use her services again for future home renovations! "

"My wife and I are fortunate to have found a professional designer with the knowledge and talent of Andrea Srinivas. Her impressive familiarity with a vast array of bathroom fixtures, features, styles and materials provided a rich medium for the creation of her bathroom design.  The design addressed our specific goals with optimum functionality. More significantly, it converted the household liability of a cramped aging bath into a masterfully coordinated composition of marble, tile, china and chrome, immeasurably enhancing our home."
